b. Rajaram Memorial Award for Best Research Paper in Social Pediatrics

• • Instituted by Prof. S Sushama Bai – Citation & cash prize of Rs 3000.
  • Category: Oral Research Paper Presentation – Postgraduates.
  • If no eligible papers from postgraduates, faculty & practicing pediatricians will be considered.
  • Structured abstract of 300 words to be uploaded.

c. Manampurath Oomen John Memorial Award for Best Research Publication

• • Instituted by Dr. Shaji Thomas John – Citation & cash prize of Rs 6000.
  • Category: Research publication – Member, IAP Kerala.
  • Publication in an indexed journal (01.08.24 – 31.10.25).
  • Applicant should be a Kerala resident for the last 3 years.
  • Journal article in PDF format to be uploaded. (Entries closed.

4. Awards for Free Paper and e-Poster Categories:

• • Postgraduates (MD/DCH/DNB)
  • Faculty of Medical Colleges, Senior Residents, and DM trainees
  • Practicing Pediatricians

Structured Abstract Submission (Max 300 words):

• • Research Paper: Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
  • Case Report: Background, Case Characteristics, Outcome, Single-sentence Message

Research Work Requirements:

• • Research must be original and not presented elsewhere.
  • Postgraduates/DM trainees must submit a certificate of ethics approval at the time of presentation.
  • Other applicants must submit an undertaking stating originality.

Submission Guidelines:

• • Presenting author should be first author.
  • IAP Membership Number must be provided.
  • Maximum 4 authors per abstract.

Important Deadline:

Abstract/Thesis/Publication Submission Deadline: November 14, 2025, before 12:00 AM.

Submission Confirmation:

Confirmation of submission and judging panel decisions will be communicated via email.

Final Decision:

Judging panel decisions are final.

Publication of Selected Abstracts:

Certificates of Participation shall be provided to all eligible participants who present their research work at the venue. All such abstracts shall be included in conference souvenir.

Eligible research work (papers/posters) from Kerala shall be considered for Award Categories.
